Let’s talk ice cream and the magic that is made at Mango Rabbit in Tempe.
Peggy and her team meticulously craft bubble waffles made from scratch. Then proceed to fill the waffle with ice cream, fresh fruit, pocky, a cookie, and if that wasn’t enough, they add a sauce to bring it all together. The result is a feast for the eyes, taste buds, and soul.
The Hong Kong style waffles are made to order. They are crisp on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The waffle itself it delightful; balanced sweetness with hints of vanilla. They would be delicious all by themselves, but they are the perfect vessel for ice cream.

Vanilla waffle, blueberry jam infusion, Ube Ice Cream, Poky sticks, strawberries, blueberries, Oreo cookie, condensed milk, whipped cream, and star sprinkles.
The bubble waffles aren’t the only dessert that shines at Mango Rabbit. The fruit teas, and milk teas are excellent. The tea isn’t overly sweet, and the addition of fresh fruit and boba make the tea experience complete.
I can’t wait to go back to Mango Rabbit and try another bubble waffle combination. I think I have a new favorite dessert; the bubble waffle.
