Look no further than Killer Burger in Scottsdale. The burger chain with roots in Portland brings the flavor bombs to PHX with their 1/3 grass fed beef burgers. Named “Best Burger” in Portland by “The Oregonian” in 2014, Killer Burger decided it wanted to expand and bring their delicious burgers to the Valley of The Sun.
The Scottsdale location opened in May of 2018, bringing the Killer Burger classics and some innovative creations like the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon burger to the PHX masses. The Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon (PBPB) burger comes packed with Bacon, Peanut Butter Sauce, House sauce, mayo, gilled onions and pickles. Not feeling that adventurous? Not to worry They have a classic all American burger, or you can build your own.
Feeling extra hungry, or watching your waist but want to indulge in a burger? You can customize your burger size to match your appetite. Original gets you the Killer Burger; a generous 1/3 patty. “Make it a Fatty” with double 1/3 patties and cheese, or make it a “Pint Size” for days when you’re watching your calories but want to satisfy a craving.
Before you ask… The fries were just as amazing as the burgers! Crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside. Perfectly good on their own, or you can get a special sauce for your fries to take a swim in.
It that isn’t enough to get you to try Killer Burger, I’ll leave you with one last piece of wisdom straight from the Marketing Department… “Every burger comes with bacon, and since bacon is awesome, it is crosshatched when placed in the burger. So every bite you take of your burger will have a piece of bacon with it.” If that statement alone won’t get you down there, I don’t know what will.
